About Us

The Addison United soccer club was brought together in 1994 for some Bristol, Middlebury and Vergennes youth that wanted to play more soccer than just in the fall season, and coaches that wanted to develop the youth’s soccer skills.   The Vermont soccer league which also was in its early years of development gave the youth of Addison United the opportunity to play in a spring league.

Since then Addison United has grown into one of the larger state wide clubs and has teams for both boys and girls starting at 7 years of age and going to an amateur level team of college age players. It has also had adult teams playing in leagues.

Some of these teams also play through the winter months at the indoor facilities.

Addison United soccer club promotes the development of good sportsmanship, proper individual techniques, a safe playing facility, and organized team management for all age levels.

The season generally starts with training at least twice a week starting in April.  The league matches start playing the beginning of May and run into the middle to end of June, with one or two matches on each weekend. This depends on what each team elects to do, as some teams will also travel to tournaments. This determines the costs for each team which varies from team to team and age group.

Get involved with the AUSC

The AUSC is a volunteer based organization that relies on the involvement of all of the parents in order to succeed. To volunteer do you need to know soccer? Absolutely not! We have many parents involved with the club that have had their soccer knowledge grow right along with their children.
